Who we are
Top Games UK is an editorial guide published by Jalou Studio at jaloustudio.com/top-games. We are the controller of personal data described here and follow the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
We only collect personal data when you send our contact form: your name, email address and message. Our server also keeps a short private record of each message so we can follow up. We don't ask you to create an account.
How it's protected
The form is processed on our server over HTTPS. Messages are delivered to our editors' inbox by our email delivery provider and kept in a private server log that can't be opened from the web. Nothing you send is shown publicly.
Why we use it
To reply to your message and improve the guide. Our lawful basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in answering readers. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Up to 24 months after our last reply, then it's deleted.
Links to other sites
Game links take you to publishers' official websites. Their privacy policies apply once you leave this guide.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, through our contact page. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
